Join us on Wednesday, January 29, as we welcome the Chinese New Year with a special blood donation event at all three of our blood donation donor centers.

  • Festive fortune cookies: Enjoy a special treat with your donation!
  • Lucky red envelopes: All donors will receive a red envelope, and some lucky envelopes will contain gift cards!

How to participate

  • Book your spot: Schedule your appointment online at one of our donor centers
  • Join us: arrive at your chosen donor center during operating hours on January 29.
  • Donate: you can donate whole blood, double red cells, and platelets.
  • Celebrate: life, luck, and generosity this Chinese New Year at our special blood donation event!

Reserve your appointment today and make a life-saving difference while celebrating the Year of the Snake. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly encouraged to minimize wait times. Together, let’s start the new year with generosity and hope.

  • Photo ID required.
  • Masking is optional for all donors.
  • Please allow one hour for your donation.

While supplies last. Shirt colors may vary. You must complete the screening process at an Inova Donor Center from 1/29/25  to receive your giveaways.
